This is the second event of the year at our new ground in the Chilterns National Landscape and the first opportunity of the year to ‘grass’ a Roebuck.
Located northwest of London and accessed in just an hour’s drive from West London, Guildford, Oxford and Hertfordshire, this beautiful new ground, is within the perfect catchment area for many of our members and forms part of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire.
Consisting of mixed pasture and ancient woodland, this will be just the second time that this ground has been shot in the last few years, something that has resulted in an unusually high numbers of Roe and Muntjac.
There is always something exciting about experiencing a new ground, especially one as good as this, that has not been shot for many years.
(*NB: Only Roebuck, Fallow Buck and Muntjac Buck (not Muntjac Doe) may be shot during this event. Shot deer will be charged at usual Capreolus Club / County Deer Stalking rates less 20%).
