Autumn is a wonderful time to be out stalking. It also brings the so-called “faux rut” for Roebuck, when many younger bucks experience a short-lived rise in testosterone. It makes for a lively and atmospheric early autumn outing in search of Roebuck and Muntjac buck across the beautiful Chilterns National Landscape.
Set to the northwest of London and reachable in around an hour from West London, Guildford, Oxford and Hertfordshire, it is an ideal backdrop for an early autumn stalk.
(NB: Only Roebuck and Muntjac buck may be taken during this event. Shot deer will be charged at standard Capreolus Club / County Deer Stalking rates.)
