For those members who do not possess their own rifle, please contact the office to confirm the availability of an 'estate rifle' prior to making your booking.
September is a wonderful time to be out stalking. The heat of high summer has passed, the mornings carry the first real bite of autumn, and the woodland and grounds of our exclusive Hampshire estate come alive as the deer feed hard ahead of the colder months.
This is the moment the Fallow bucks begin to stir. With the rut still a few weeks away, September is the time to take a fine buck as he comes into peak condition, ahead of the frenzy of October. It is also amongst the last opportunities of the year to harvest a Roebuck, the buck season drawing to its close at the end of October, whilst our resident Muntjac, present throughout and stalkable year-round, complete the trio.
Members are welcomed to an all-inclusive lunch, followed by an afternoon/ evening stalk over some of the most beautiful ground in the South of England.
