Driven Bird Day

Following the huge success of our first club driven bird day in 2017, this year we will revisit the splendid Newington House shoot in Oxfordshire for our 2018 Driven Bird day, which this year has been enhanced to 125+ birds over 5-6 drives for 10 guns.

The day starts at 9:00am with a meet/greet and breakfast at Newington House, followed by a briefing and drawing of pegs, before setting out for the 1st drive of the day. We will be shooting a mixed bag of Duck, Pheasant & Partridge throughout the day, stopping mid-morning for elevenses, consisting of an excellent spread of drinks and canapes, and at mid-day for a first class lunch in the dining room of the glorious Newington House.

Following the afternoon drives, the day is rounded of with tea and cakes before departure at 4pm..

Experienced coaches/loaders are available to accompany guns if required – please ask about this service when booking. Please note Capreolus Club members are also welcome to invite a guest to this event.
