Driven Boar Shooting at Chateau de Guignicourt sur Vence, France
Invitations rarely come better than this!
The Capreolus club has been invited by Prince Edouard de Merode to attend his shoot at the prestigious Guignicourt Estate for driven boar and deer shooting.
This fabulous event commences on Thursday 11th November with dinner at château de Guignicourt sur Vence, in company with Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger of Taittinger Champagne. Accommodation the night before and after the shoot, comes in the form of the stunning Domaine Château du Faucon nearby.
Eleven rifles are invited from the club, and will form part of 22 rifles in total.
The itinerary is as follows:
Thursday 11th November - Dinner at château de Guignicourt sur Vence with Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger (and his wonderful Champagne)
Stay over at the nearby Domaine Château du Faucon
Friday 12th November - Breakfast at the hotel, after which guns meet at the château de Guignicourt sur Vence for a number of drives. Lunch at the shooting Pavillon, followed by further drives, honour to the game and tea-time at the Château.

Saturday 13th November – Return.
Nothing beats the thrill and excitement of hounds baying and beaters calling, as Boar are driven toward waiting guns. Nothing also beats an invitation from a Prince to spend the evening with Taittinger Champagne!
