Elk and Capercaillie in the forests of Central Norway

In a first for the Club, this autmun we are hugely excited to be pionnering an epic adventure to hunt for European Elk/Moose and the most aspirational, 'King of game-birds' - 'Capercaillie' in the mountains of Central Norway. 

This exclusive hunting concession, which covers a vast 100,000 hectares of breath-taking Norwegian countryside, has an impressive provenance, with various royals, nobles and high profile individuals having visited since the late 1800's. Accomodation comes in the form of a number of luxurious, comfortable cabins with full maid and house keeping service situated on the famous river Namsen.  

The Capreolus Club is delighted to reveal, that it has been granted exclusive access to this prestigious hunting retreat and we trust that this first pioneering trip will form the basis of further trips to come. Indeed Club members are welcome to hunt this superb concession on a 'book & go' basis throughout the season on a bespoke basis.
