The hunting in Norway is far from being about the kill, it is about enjoying the comradery and the outdoors. It is about conversations that are had around the open fire and in the ‘Sauna’ post hunt. It is an opportunity to immerse oneself in the great outdoors and spectacular Scandinavian scenery, it is the type of hunting and scenery that make the heart soar!

Our 2021 trip to Norway this year has been timed to coincide with the opening days of the Elk hunting season. This is a special, much celebrated time in Norway, when the hunting is at its very best. Late summer is also a great time to be fishing for Brown Trout. The lodge is positioned directly on the shores of the ‘Queen of rivers’ – the river Namsen, which is widely regarded as one of the finest fishing rivers in the world.

Whether you wish to concentrate on the fishing or the hunting, the breath-taking scenery and warm hospitality promises that this will be one of the club’s finest autumn events.
