27 JULY - 2018

Roebuck Calling during the Rut

It is during the rut in late July to early August that Roe stalking is at its very best.

To celebrate this high point in the stalkers calendar the club will be holding a special event during the height of the rut. Members are invited to the award winning Wellington Arms in Baughurst, Hampshire for a three course lunch followed by an insight into some of the techniques involved in Roe calling. Members will then be supplied with their own ‘buttalo call’ and an opportunity to put their skills to the test at calling and ‘grassing’ a buck.

Includes 3 course lunch and buttalo call. Roebuck are charged at £50 per point for non-medal class animals and £75 per point for medal winners.
