With the clocks turned back and the first frosts settling over the woods, November marks the beginning of the winter management season in the Chiltern Hills.
The 1st of November sees the opening of the doe season, and with it the chance to be amongst the first out for Roe does over our exclusive Chiltern grounds. Combined with our ever-present Muntjac, which may be stalked all year round, success rates at this time of year are typically high, making it the ideal outing for those looking to begin filling the freezer with healthy, free-range venison as winter draws in.
Members will enjoy an all-inclusive lunch before heading out for an afternoon stalk through some of the finest woodland the Home Counties has to offer
