In May, with the Roebuck go a little crazy as they aggressively begin to establish territories. During this period in the deer's cycle there is a window of opportunity during the ensuing may'hem, to ‘grass’ yourself a Roebuck or two. 

Second only to the rut, this is the optimum time of the year to hunt Roebuck. We are up and out early for a 4.15am start at our grounds in Hampshire to experience the best of the season, followed by a first-class breakfast at the award-winning Wellington Arms.
